The RazorMax Classic kit is designed to have a small footprint as it sits on your countertop. Made from a strong, clear acrylic it sets the standard for blade-life extension kits for both performance and aesthetics. It's the only kit on the market that can be configured for dual razor use. One of the main design features is our exclusive sloped bottom that separates shaving by-products (water/whiskers) from the blade. As the razor sits in the resting position the blade remains slightly below the oil level but above and away from all shaving by-products. This is important because it's critical the blade is not touching any water or by-products that eventual build up on the bottom from normal use.
Our corrosion reducing oil has been enhanced from the original formula. This shaving oil reduces pitting on the blade and eliminates oxidation and calcification. These design features allow us to guarantee 30-40 good shaves with a single high quality blade.
The RazorMax Classic kit includes one wet-storage container, two bottles of RazorMax oil and mounting kit. This is our most popular design and it works with all razors including the Gillette® Mach 3 Turbo and Schick® Quattro. The kit consumables should last between 8-12 months for an average user.
How it works
Scientific research proves that the majority of your razors dull edge is the result of oxidation and calcification of the blade. This is caused by rinsing and storing your blade in open air, over and over again. The combination of soap, moisture, shaving cream, and indoor air quickly corrode the fine cutting edge of your blade. This is usually under 10 days for most blades on the market. The act of shaving only has a gradual effect on blade wear.
RazorMax wet-storage system works with all disposable razors. Our hypoallergenic oil coats and protects the blade edge, keeping it clean and sharp. All of our wet-storage containers are designed to separate water and shaving byproducts from the blade. Our Classic kit contains a sloped bottom that allows water and shaving by-products to roll off down and away from the blade. This is important because it's critical the blade is not touching any water or by-products that eventually builds up on the bottom from normal use.
RazorMax provides a smoother, more comfortable shave because of three factors. First, the blade stays sharper for a longer period of time. In most cases, a users 15th shave will feel like their 1st. Second, the hypoallergenic oil that we use during storage clings to the blade as you shave. This oil is slowly released as the blade glides over your skin providing for an incredibly close and smooth shave. Third, storing the razor in our wet-storage container eliminates calcification and pitting on the blade edge thus significantly reducing nicks, cuts, and razor burn.
